Considering the Place of Buddhist Traditions Across Asia
March 19 and 20, 2002

The Center for Asian Studies and the Department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Austin would like to announce a two-day workshop developed for college educators entitled "Considering the Place of Buddhist Traditions Across Asia." This timely workshop will examine the cultural context of Buddhism as it spread throughout Asia. If you would like to attend please download the workshop application below.

Participation is limited, therefore applicants are encouraged to return the enclosed form before the deadline date of February 25, 2002. Participants will be offered accommodation for two nights in the DoubleTree Guest Suites, Austin. As well, those chosen to participate will be awarded a travel allowance of $100 and meals (2 lunches and 1 dinner) during the workshop.
