The Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute intensive language program will be held at the University of Oregon, June 15 to August 14. Subject to minimum enrollment, intensive courses will be offered at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels in Burmese, Hmong, Indonesian, Javanese, Khmer, Lao, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, Jawi,and Nom. Other related coursework will also be offered. FLAS fellowships will be available. The FLAS application deadline is January 30. The course application deadline is April 15.
